Healthy Living Series: Shop and Cook Healthy, Tips for Eating Healthy During the Holidays

Discover how to live well and be equipped with the tools you need to improve your life and well-being. This online series will help you gain knowledge on important health topics, exchange resources, solve problems, provide mutual support and empower you to take charge of your health. Classes take place every other Tuesday, 3 to 4 p.m. On Nov. 7, the class will discuss how to shop and cook healthy. On Nov. 21, the class will share tips on how to eat healthy during the holidays.

UCI Culinary Health: Understanding the Microbiome Series — Fiber and Immune Health

UCI Susan Samueli Integrative Health Institute's Culinary Health webinar series is a 50-minute workshop based on the UCI School of Medicine culinary medicine curriculum.

Diabetes Overview

This workshop is meant for anyone with diabetes, those with pre-diabetes, or at risk for pre-diabetes, and for individuals, family members and caregivers of those with diabetes. Anyone interested in learning more about diabetes is also welcome. Sessions occur on the last Wednesday of each month from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. via Zoom.

Healthy Happenings is a monthly email that includes a six-week calendar of health news and events. To be included, events must be open to the public, health-related, and hosted or co-hosted by a UCI Health entity. Healthy Happenings is distributed at the beginning of every month. To appear in next month's edition, you must submit your event at least one week before the first of the month.
