Dear Friends,

Before we approach the home stretch of 2022, it’s with great joy that we look back on the summer. The pillars of Health Affairs – discover, teach, heal – are never more meaningful than when we can celebrate the success of our UCI community who, indeed, are exemplars. From announcing a collaboration between University Hospitals (UH) Connor Whole Health and Susan Samueli Integrative Health Institute (SSIHI); to delineating fascinating findings on mental health and serious weather conditions; and a grant awarded to a UCI research team from the Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy Association (HOPA) – we are so proud of the efforts of our faculty and researchers and grateful for their dedication to making an impact in Orange Country and well beyond.
